These work pants were a toss up for me. I'm a construction safety manager and I'm in challenging, dirty and clothing snagging environments all day long.I've worn a Levi denim product for the last 14 years and they were fine, I guess.I bought these Truewerks about 2 months ago. They have gotten lots of good unsolicited compliments and seem to be comfortable as well. The weather where I live has been anywhere from the high 40s in the morning, to 85⁰ in the afternoon. Their semi softshell design seems to be warmer and cooler than denim at these temperatures. They also block wind fairly well. They do seem to minimally shrink after a warm cycle in the dryer. Which is fine for me, because I could use a 31 waist size, but only even number sizing is available i.e. 30, 32, 34, 36 etc. They are also a little whispy while walking in a quiet office environment, to be honest. It sounds a little like Castanza walking with his new suit. Ha HaI bought a grey pair and the tan/brown as well. The grey seems to fit a little tighter)better than the tan/brown.Either way, these parts are a good product and the jury is out on their durability. I suspect that they will last as long as a denim work pant.***The cell phone pocket and the two zippered pockets are also useful. The back pockets do not have a closure and are set a little low, in my opinion.Good product with a price that is about $20 higher than other competing products that I'm looking for.
