
I want it to be mainly for USB ports and a card reader and it's ok. The 100W power is very useful for devices that use USB ports for charging (e.g. a MacBook), eliminating the need to connect an additional power cord to your laptop. I also don't have a separate ethernet adapter so it behaves like one. The main disadvantage is that it does not support 4K display at 60 fps. If you're looking for a multi-desktop hub, it probably isn't for you!
