I bought this to use on an electric bicycle.top speed is around 36mph.I'm too old to attempt any trick riding but if (or when) I go down its more protective than a ugly bicycle helmet!PRO:It'll protect my noggin and face from a dump off a bicycle. At electric bicycle speeds!It flips up pretty nicely.have to push the release just right.which is a good thing!Very sturdy when locked in positionThe tinted flip down shield isn't as dark looking out.as it is looking in!Very good tint for a bright day!Still very visible into early sunsetGood looking helmet!CON: The strap doesn't tighten up around my neck! Tried some foam on top of my head.that made the front hit my nose.I put a cushion on the strap and it helps.doesn't fix itIn a hard crash off a motorcycle.this would EASILY COME OFF!Or worse.Its a thermoplastic construction, at this price its what I expected.Again.The construction, and strap fit.I wouldn't feel confident this would protect me over 45mph.even IF it stayed on my head!
