Coming from Bestop I expected better quality. The mirrors arrived on time and functionally they would have rated them a 5 but my god the mounting screws are straight from the worst store they could ever buy them from. The stainless screws didn't have a proper Torx tip, and when I used one that had them cut down (a size) the glands in the head immediately rounded off, barely tightened. I used original Mopar screws again, which fit great and the quality is of course very high, eight screws. The last thing I need is for my mirrors to fall off when I'm using my Jeep in the woods, and they certainly will. Rack mirror mount or mirror torque, you can easily mount them with an allen wrench, again use the best quality provided it's easy to round too. The lock or nut at the base of the strut isn't the same size as the original, so don't let that confuse you and surprise you that it's imperial, not metric. I really hope someone at Bestop reads this and understands that if you don't have quality gear, a good product can go bad. Nothing frustrates a shade tree mechanic more than equipment that prevents breakage or twisting due to soft metal.
