This headset is quite comfortable when new. So far it looks solid and high quality. It's a compromise to attach the ear strap with a vinyl loop under the ear cups. They can break and render the top strap unusable, so I'll grab a spare. This might be better than the alternative plastic ear cup mount found on some pricier headsets. If one of them breaks, you'll have to buy a new earcup or a completely rebuilt headset. The volume control on the earpad is a nice feature, and the PTT button is a nice touch. Only time will tell how durable the ear cushions are and isolate noise. I think they are at least as good as many I've used at a fair price. Some others are ridiculously cheap. I'm looking forward to testing them at the 4 hour IMPC race at Dayton this year.
