They just don't make clock radios like they used to. Being extremely myopic, the biggest pluses for me are the super large numbers and the beautiful blue color. The sound quality of the radio is not very good, but it is better than most modern clock radios. The description says you can set the alarm to sound or radio but I couldn't figure out how to set it to radio. Otherwise I could set up and use the device without instructions. Look for the Daylight Saving Time button. It's located next to the snooze button, so it's very easy to accidentally press it, meaning your alarm will go off an hour earlier or later than intended. While theoretically a USB charging port is a good idea, the device often flies off the table when I call my phone while it's plugged in because it weighs so little. I've only been using it for a few weeks and already have a few scratches. I would prefer a black case because it looks nicer and hides scratches better. Not strong vibrations but better than traditional clock radios available today.
