I'll be brief. This stuff really works, but you have to be patient. I dosed the whole box for several months and didn't see any change until about month 5. I have horrible water changes and therefore high nitrates, my worst enemy. I've been keeping reefs for over 15 years and never had zero nitrates until I started using this stuff. If algae is the problem, this may not help. I used this plus the Fosban reactor and now all the algae is gone except the coral. In short, be patient but try.
