As I'm not a tech savvy person I was very happy with the ease of setup. I was suspicious at first because it says you can tell when it's connected to the internet by the blinking (round) green light. Mine doesn't blink all the time. When I added a new laptop to the system, my internet slowed down and I found that I couldn't load certain pages. So after making sure everything was connected as instructed, I went to my model's website and explored a few options. Now, remember, whenever I "research" anything related to computers, it almost always ends in disaster. But - I was desperate, so I persevered. Long story short, I found a page with "ping" options. LAN was enabled. There was no WAN. Now I know what WAN means, but I have no idea what WAN ping does. I enabled WAN ping and solved my problem. Overall I find this device pleasant to use and I would definitely recommend it.
