It worked, but wasn't a genuine part of Kohler.
The filter I received from a supplier through Revain was not a Kohler filter but an OEM equivalent. Like I said, it fit and worked perfectly. Considering the only downside is the 2 day delivery time, you can spend a few bucks on fuel, spend time driving and get the equivalent of 2 bucks more at your local parts store. I'm happy but I don't like being fooled.
