These are some of the best and most adorable pants I've purchased for my daughter in all her six years and she is fight l difficult to buy for. She's very tall and very thin and there is just enough extra room at the bottom. She normally wears 5T if they're long enough or six but lately those are too short from most places. Even if your child is not so tall, the bottoms may be a bit scrunchy but still super cute as they're narrow. The waist band is great. She's got room still but they don't fit like they're too big at all. The material is on the thicker side but not too hot for warmer temps. We're in Wisconsin and she's warm enough with tights underneath. The pair in the picture have been washed twice now, she owns a pair in dark gray that I purchased before these and I just purchased navy, that's how pleased we are.My daughter stands 46" tall.
