It's heavy, well-made, has the right ventilation, has a hole large enough to make it easy to clean, and the weights are spot-on for this size jar. It's perfect for what it is.Tip: Pay attention to the size. I am mostly using mine for fermented peppers for sandwiches and salsas, but if you're looking to make large batches of kimchi or sauerkraut you may want to go bigger.
