UPDATE (6/2/2018): I'm NOT happy with this! Several rubber bumpers had come loose from the base. Also, the overlays keep falling off and I often have to mouse down to make adjustments. They are located in areas with low traffic and minimal use! I thought I was buying a quality item and spent a little more than I wanted on something as small as the damn door bumpers, but I appreciated the aesthetic. I should have just stuck with those ugly wire looking ones. At least they don't fall apart! Original review from January 21, 2018: I like the look. And I almost feel guilty saying this as I constantly whine about companies that make inferior products that are almost too heavy for my needs. The diameter is quite large for the standard size baseboards I installed it on. The floor mounting plate almost overhangs the top edge. I think they would look absolutely amazing on a 4" or + baseboard. Or. Use over wall paneling if strong enough. All materials appear durable and of high quality. They seem to be durable! The installation is quite easy. To do this, drill 2 screws into the base plate. The top plate is then placed over the base to hide the screws and complete the look (they seem very secure so I'm not worried about them loosening and falling off). coming soon!) The stand attaches to the mounting plate with a screw (they are already included) and can be easily tightened by turning. After a bit of trial and error, I highly recommend drilling pilot holes first. small distance between stem and mounting holes, drill back a bit. Even with my 16-year-old Milwaukee bit, I struggled to get enough force to insert cleanly and almost burned the screw. My only issue: I hope the rubber bumper alone will hold up ng install fell off, but it was easy to get it back. He only thinks long-term. Are they still intact after 3 years? (I will update my review if this ever becomes an issue.)
