I have a door that drove me nuts when I found this fantastic door holder and it was easy to install. The screws are self-drilling, went straight into my metal door and screwed tight. Robust action that is easy to deploy and store. Very happy with the purchase.

2 months after installation 2 do not work and 1 hardly works, hard to say what the specific mechanical problem is, maybe the spring is broken inside but me have them installed them in low traffic areas, if used once every 3 days it's a lot so be aware if you want to use them in high traffic areas l.

After a little over a month of use they stopped cracking, you have to lift them manually. I have 3; One always stays down but the other 2 stop bouncing and I have to bend down to pick them up. UPDATE: The company sent 3 more and the same thing happened; Now I have to lift them by hand as the foot lock doesn't work. GARBAGE!

I bought two packs of these doorstops. 1in3 does not work as intended right out of the box. I installed them and pushing the lever to raise the stopper puts a lot of stress on the stopper and screws but does not lift it. Switched it to another stop in the package and the other worked fine. They're pretty light and given that 1 out of 3 don't work for no apparent reason I don't have high hopes they will last very long.

Although the mount itself looks good and arrived promptly in good condition, the packaging was missing a protective rubber pad to protect our new door.
