The old cabin air filter was obsolete and had to be replaced after a year. I've found that ordering and replacing your own air filter can save you a lot of money once it's done at the dealer. It's really easy to change. In my case I had to loosen 2 screws under the panel on the passenger side and slide the cover to the side. You can then pull out the old filter and replace it with the new one. If you want you can watch videos online to see exactly how it's done. This filter is a perfect match for my OEM filter, looks exactly like it fits and works just as well.
