These fans are great for circulating, cooling and minimizing the fan noise of your PS4. Here are some PRO TIPS (pun intended). READ THE TIPS BELOW. However, it is perfectly normal for the PS4 to reach a medium temperature. , it never hurts to maximize electronics cooling. ESPECIALLY indoors. When the system is cooler, the internal fan doesn't need to run as hard, which maximizes efficiency and of course increases life expectancy and reduces fan noise overall. These fans are very quiet and while they keep the system cool, the internal fans don't have to run half as fast, greatly reducing the overall noise level. That's a great bonus. With these fans on high settings, distributed as shown in my photos, my PS4 never gets hotter than moderate. These fans are versatile so you can connect more fans as needed and place them however you like based on your setup. NOW TIPS: 1. Do it first! You probably want to keep noise levels down and/or your system temperatures as cool as possible, so I STRONGLY recommend dusting off the internal fan first, just for the added benefit. It's easy with PS4 PRO. Just remove the top cover and blow out the dust or lightly wipe the fans and put the cover back on. (See tutorial videos online). This ensures efficient operation of the internal fans.2. USB Tips: (1). There is a hidden USB port on the BACK of the PS4 PRO. Use it to get it out of the way, leaving the two front USB ports free (it can be turned on/off with the PS4)(2). You're probably using a 4K TV or other TV with lots of ports these days, so you probably have a USB port on the back of your TV, which is another handy option for you. I use this option (it can be toggled on and off with your TV) (3). You can simply use the adapter to plug into the wall, but you need to remember to turn it off and on manually.3. Fan Placement: (the side that blows out is the side where the wire is visible) The placement I personally recommend and use myself (pictured) is a fan down supporting the PS4 and up towards the bottom of the PS4 blows. and a fan located at the top blows DOWN on PS4. I would probably only recommend this option if your PS4 is in an enclosed space and you want hot air to escape from that area (e.g. fan cutouts at the back of the enclosed space).
