Review on Techmount 4-30912-B-TECHGRIPPER: Ride Safe with USA Made Universal Motorcycle Handlebar Smart Phone & GPS Mount Kit in Black by Joshua Douglas

Installed this on my Triumph 1200 Explorer yesterday. Finishing, durability and general build quality are excellent. I haven't had a chance to drive it on rough roads yet, so I plan to update my review once I do. That being said, I installed a Techgripper holder to hold the phone in landscape mode so it doesn't block the tach and digital engine gauges. Putting the phone in portrait mode I wasn't entirely sure it would hold up on the Triumph on dirt roads, but since I haven't tested it I can't say if it can handle it. Also, I would risk my phone to do this lol. I suspect the potential problem is compounded by the narrowness of my Galaxy S8+, but I don't know. If anyone else has actually used this phone with the Techgripper in portrait mode, I'd be thrilled to know how well it handles rough roads. Of course, this is a big deal when you're driving off-road. Last but not least, it's really easy to install and use, and the handlebar mount is rock solid. I will update as soon as I have a chance to test its performance on rough roads. At the same time I gave 5 stars for all the reasons I REALLY know =)
