All in all, it serves its purpose. I'm giving it three stars simply because it's ergonomic as a brick (literally. thick thing with right angles everywhere. not comfortable to hold or even pick up to be honest). That sounds picky. But it's really that bad. Looking out of the battery compartment, he doesn't even see a reason to be as clumsy as he is. Inside it is mostly empty. Second, you have to long press the buttons to make them work. If you just press them quickly, they won't work. While this is annoying, it at least works consistently with long button presses (maybe 1/2 second, maybe a little longer). It works, so I can't disagree with that. This is the third remote I'm working on, the other two don't work with my receiver even though they are all marked 'Universal'. deal with his clumsiness and a long button press!
