These make a great under-layer under a shirt or sweater. Too sheer to wear by itself. Also they actually run a little big. I hover between an XL and an XXL - I am 42DD with a 37" waist. I ordered XXL and actually should have gone with XL, but that's okay for my purposes. Fabric is very smooth and soft. EDIT: I have had these for several months. They wash great! I wear them almost all the time, under sweaters and at night under my nightgown because they always make nightgowns with stupid itchy lace.
