I tried the elastic when I was looking for alternative ways to attach a roll of tarpaulin without ties. It didn't work as the loop was plastic and kept turning toward me when I tried to tighten it. Also, I only had to walk the two of you around the perimeter of the folded tarp. I stumbled across them and decided to give it a try. I would recommend them to anyone especially flatbed lovers who are tired of using bungee and ruined the tarp. The only thing I will say is to use the guide you need to get the strap that fits your project. I ordered 3 pieces in different sizes. On the second order I made a mistake because I didn't measure the circumference of the product and I was missing about 25 inches. Even though I've found a use for them, you may be unlucky and it annoys me that you have to change the order of the straps. Therefore, use the measurement instructions.
