This USB adapter _does not_ conform to the strict USB Type-C and/or USB 3.1 standards. This is a common problem now that many devices now use the same port and connector design. The catch is that there are several different standards that use the same shape. No problem as long as format standards are followed, but _many_ manufacturers don't. This adapter will work with some of your devices, but not with more sophisticated ones. I tried connecting an external SSD to it and it didn't work. Tests with other adapters showed that the problem was with the adapter and not with the drive or the computer's port.
