Not sure yet, I've used this on spa covers before and it seems to be working well. It doesn't go very far as my coverage took about half a bottle but time will tell if it needs to be reapplied sooner or later. So far, so good. If this continues, I'll add another star. Update 6/2/17 - The repellent works well and tri nova sent me another bottle free of charge as my first bottle didn't last long. I have to say this is excellent customer service. The second time I sprayed it went further, so maybe the spa coating material got in more with the first spray. I apply it about 3 months after my first coat and my lid still looks brand new. I think that means it works!
