Will not work with Sentry Gun Safe
Very good gas strut. Too powerful to substitute in a Sentry Pistol Safe. The safe will not open when combinations are entered, even with new batteries. So I tried the next size up from this one which weighs 18 pounds. They are only 7" long instead of 7 1/2". . Half inch differential. enlarged and the safe lid only opens 2/3, making access difficult. I think I might try auto parts. If anyone has a solution, I'd love to hear it!
