I have used this foam gun twice (four cars) and have had great results each time. Soap does not need to be pre-mixed like other foamers. Simply add your favorite soap concentrate straight into the bottle. The soap mixes well and creates a lot of foam when the water flows through the nozzle. At setting #1, the foam gun uses approximately 2.5 ounces per typical car wash (sedan, SUV, or truck). This setting was more than enough to produce a good amount of foam. I noticed that the instructions recommend rinsing the system with clean water after each use. I didn't do this for the other foam gun which failed due to the likely accumulation of soap residue.
