I shook my umbrellas very hard and tried to turn them inside out. They did, but backed away slightly. They are almost entirely automatic. The button opens it completely, and by pressing it again the umbrella folds, you just have to put the velcro back on and fold the pole with your hands. You can spend all night looking for a good deal on a car screen. It's not super light weight, but for the price, 2 umbrellas are better than one. Great offer!
