My son purchased this for himself. He loves it and has had it up in 3 different locations around the house and has taken it with him to summer camp where he is working. This is large and comfortable. He is thinking of adding the bug net to keep away mosquitoes, but otherwise loves the hammock.Update: While at camp one of the ropes broke. The ropes are separate pieces that feed through the carabiner to tie the hammock to a tree. I contacted Mallome for my son and they got back to me very quickly. They asked for photos which I provided once my son got home and then they offered to refund a portion of his purchase cost since the ropes came as part of the package with the hammock. I thought this was extremely fair since by using some fisherman's knots, my son was still able to use the ropes and therefore the hammock. He has it up now at and spends time in it whenever he gets the chance. I think he plans to buy the XL straps which are flat and won't rub against the trees in the same way, but he is waiting until after his birthday to see if anyone purchases them for him. Mallome had great customer service and wanted to quickly make things right. I would definitely buy from them again.
