Before I begin, I have to give the disclaimer that I'm not girdle/shapewear wearer. I put this on and was able to pull it up all the way under my bra line. I sat in it, and the legs did not ride up. I stood in it, and the legs did not ride up. The waist part never rolled down either, which I understand is a common gripe with shapewear. The material was nice and soft. It didn't feel like that old shiny polyester stuff our foreparents wore. The waistband and leg bands have some type of special material that I've never seen before but it's shiny and at first, I thought it was some kind of polyurethane but it's softer. You don't notice it when you are wearing the garment. It wasn't restrictive. I could breathe and move about easily. I only wore it for about 20 minutes so I can't vouch for what happens if you wear it all day. It also has the hole in the crotch that I assume is supposed to make relieving oneself easier.Overall, I'd say that it's a nice piece for women who wear these types of undergarments.
