First off when the cable worked I had absolutely no issues with it which is exactly what you want, you want it to "just work". I mean it's a charging cable. As long as it's strong, the protective coating doesn't deteriorate, and the joints don't break or bend, you're fine. However, if it doesn't directly charge or connect between the two right devices (in my case, the phone and the power adapter), it's utterly useless. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE that uses a USB port. With connection for charging port. I have two USB-C chargers so I bought this USB C 100W 6ft Anker Powerline III USB C to USB C 2.0 Charger Cable so I can charge my phone directly from the wall adapter. I bought the cable on March 18, 2021 and on April 24, 2021 the cable stopped working. I've performed the following troubleshooting tasks: 1. Switched between two different wall adapters while using an anchor cable - neither worked2. I used my son's USB-C charger for Nintendo Switch - it worked, my phone charged quickly as usual3. I used the Samsung wall adapter and cable that came with my phone - it worked, my phone charged quickly as usual. Based on that, I narrowed down the inability to charge my phone on an Anker charging cable. only 7 days past the allowable return window so it looks like I'm SOL. I have purchased Anker products in the past and have been very satisfied and continue to recommend them. However, it definitely left a sour taste in the mouth. Given my past experience, I would give them another try before discarding their products.
