Review on 📦 Sauder Shoal Creek Storage Chest in Soft White Finish: Stylish Organization Solution by Dave Willis

I love the style of this chest which is why I bought it. It's also great value for money. I think this is a great design for a toy box; I like the gap in the lid that makes it almost impossible to pinch your fingers. I bought this last week, shipping took way longer than most prime packages and the screws were the wrong screws. I have experience in construction; I know what I'm talking about and I certainly know how to assemble simple furniture with instructions. When reassembling I was unable to attach the cover spring as the screw threads literally didn't match the case (too big - see picture). I tried using various screws I had on hand but they were almost impossible to install due to the way the cap system is arranged. This process ended up with huge holes where the installation was supposed to take place, rendering the lid system unusable. I've already had to return two of these before even attempting to build one due to other damage and issues. this is a huge problem. That's very disappointing.
