Exactly until it becomes a dangerous product
We've had it for a few months and the readings are about 15 degrees higher. Shortly thereafter, after replacing the battery, it stopped working. It's probably not very waterproof and there's no customer service anywhere we could find to resolve any issues. When a product stops working after a few months, you know it's junk, and the lack of customer service makes it even more frustrating. We will avoid this brand in the future.
