I installed (2 of 4 sticks) on an ASUS P8P67 Pro (Rev 3.1) laptop. I used the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus cooler for my i5-2500K processor. If all 4 sticks were installed, the left stick's rather tall and thick cooling fin would (just) be in constant contact with the Hyper 212 Plus fan blowing over its heatsink. This may be fine for some but I was concerned about the long term vibration on this stick and decided to just use 2 sticks (8GB) for now. If I really need 16GB (SQL Server, Visual Studio, etc.) on my Win 7 Pro 64-bit desktop, I might take a risk, change the CPU cooler model, use lower profile memory cards, move the fan to Hyper 212+. to the other side of the heatsink, or simply raise the fan slightly to expose the cooling fin on the leftmost stick at the expense of CPU temp. ASUS P8P67 Pro (3.1) BIOS-EFI had no problems with memory detection, and its advanced menu has many (to me scared) options for memory overclocking, voltage adjustment, timings, etc. that I haven't looked into yet. As expected, the Windows 7 memory test ran error-free several times. Among other things, the performance of this memory is excellent. Works cool and fast. There's a reason for Corsair's lifetime warranty - they just make rock-solid things that are built to be abused. Plus, you can't go wrong with the newly reduced price.
