I was a big fan of the MHX heater. I recently bought a second one here for my office, but it stopped working after a few weeks. Not really upset, just thought I was unlucky. I was about to exchange it for another one when I saw this 'new version' for the same price so I switched to this one instead. 30% hotter? 39% faster? A heater that keeps going? Yes I believe. Definitely does all of those things. However, the disadvantage of a significantly more powerful fan is that it makes significantly more noise. The MHX are very quiet, which is what I like about them. But it's not quiet. The noise is definitely noticeable. Not disturbing, but you know for sure that the heating is on. So is the extra heat worth the noise? Depends on the. I actually moved that to the living room and the MHX that I had in the living room to the office. That's how it got better. Oh, and the smell when you first turn it on? Leave in 20 minutes. No big deal, pretty standard.
