Review on Simba Lighting Halogen E11 T4 50W 560lm 120V Light Bulb (4 Pack) - Ideal for Chandeliers, Pendants, Table Lamps, Cabinet Lighting - Warm White 2700K Dimmable by Matthew Loesch

These lamps have very poor quality control. The set of 4 lamps arrived in a package that looked great and well protected. I opened them up and went to replace a lightbulb in my kitchen that needed replacing and the first lightbulb I tried lasted about 15 seconds. It caught fire at about half power and then started smoking before finally going out. The next bulb literally did nothing after it was inserted and the switch flipped. The 3rd lamp worked. I didn't want to tempt fate and try the 4th bulb, so I don't know the status of the latter yet. Even so, 2 out of 4 lightbulbs taken straight out of a perfectly packed box are unsatisfactory. I will not buy this brand again.
