These are great LED replacements for halogen bulbs in terms of energy consumption and brightness. BUT beware, if you are planning to use these in a glass or transparent fixture, they won’t work as well as your halogen bulbs. I ended up returning these because the halogen bulbs they were to replace can illuminate through the body of the bulb. These cannot. I've just installed 18 of these bulbs to replace halogen bulbs. I'm really pleased with these LED bulbs. The 3K color is just like the halogens, they're bright, and I'm using them on magnetic low-voltage transformers with Insteon switches and there's been no flickering, humming or other issues. These work well with Lutron Caseta dimmers (specifically, I’m using model PDW-6WCL); I’ve previously had trouble getting other LED GU10 bulbs (e.g., Philips 465054), to shut off when using this dimmer, so I’m glad to have found these. The light is bright and the structural design of LEDs don’t project light behind the bulb, like conventional halogens. Used for custom 12V table lamps. These guys are very bright, and true 3000 Kelvin in color. 75W equivalent seems accurate. Very happy with these bulbs ! They produce very little heat considering their output is 640 Lumens each. My set up is two of these, for a combined 150 WEQ. The lamps and shades I designed, have the bulbs shine directly upwards into circular mirrored disks, which spreads the light downward and outward through the ‘crystals’. Makes cool spread patterns.

I purchased these to replace the 50W halogen bulbs in our master bath light fixture, which is a very modern fixture and didn't need to be replaced other than the overly hot halogen bulbs. The bright color matches with the cool gray tones of our updated bathroom, and they give off plenty of light without the associated heat of the old halogen bulbs. I have a Broan Range Hood that uses 2 MR16 GU10 50 watt bulbs. They do not last very long and get extremely hot. Decided to replace with these LEDs. The hood has 3 brightness levels: low, medium, high. These bulbs are much brighter than the Utilitech 50 watt Halogen bulbs they replaced. Over the past several years, we have purchased MANY versions of led lights for our 30 or so recessed ceiling lights - somehow they burn out more than stated. That aside, area of emitted light with these bulbs is bigger that our previous LEDs which seem to have vents for cooling arouund the perimeter of the light. Can't comment on longevity - installed for just a few days. But a VERY nice look.

I bought these light bulbs to replace my 50W halogen bulbs for my kitchen range hood and they look simply amazing. I used it daily for the last 8 months and so far no issue!The brightness is higher than the original with a nice soft white hue, ideal for cooking.The only downside is that the bulb is slightly larger than a standard halogen light bulb, so double check if they will fit your fixture before ordering.Definitely recommend.

Great for the cost! They flicker a tad more than other LED bulbs (like all led bulbs and dimmers, it’s supper negligible but it’s present) at half brightness, so that’s the 4-star part of it, but at full blast, one of the warmest (color temp) LED lights I’ve used. They are seriously great and the GU10 sized bulbs can be expensive and tough to source with color options like these.

I installed these bulbs to replace 50W Halogen. Installation was easy, the room is brighter, and the LEDs work with the dimmer (no buzzing, etc.), but the dimming is not proportionate. With the dimmer set at 20%, for example, much more than 50% of the light is still emitted. Good value, but beware that the dimmer function is not the same as it was for the halogens.

These 3000K replaced the bulbs that are over my garage doors and gas range hood vent. For the outdoor lighting, the regular halogen lasted about 2 years with light use. These lasted two years. They are good build quality and offer a nice uniform light dispersion.I like that they are slightly brighter than the 50w halogens they replaced and a bit "cooler" in color, but there is still a hint of warmth. Bulbs came quickly. Replaced the halogen bulbs over the stove. A little whiter light than the halogens but I like that they seem to be brighter. No heat given off at all. Good purchase.

Love these light bulbs for a direct replacement, my other ones would get so hot that you couldn't even touch the light fixture. Do you stay so cool and are dimmable! Love them!
