Much Brighter Than the 50w Halogen it Replaced

I have a Broan Range Hood that uses 2 MR16 GU10 50 watt bulbs. They do not last very long and get extremely hot. Decided to replace with these LEDs. The hood has 3 brightness levels: low, medium, high. These bulbs are much brighter than the Utilitech 50 watt Halogen bulbs they replaced. The only issue, though I do not attribute this to the bulbs but likely due to the hood itself is this. The high brightness is, again, much brighter than the halogens on high. The low setting is very bright in comparison to the halogens, but noticeably less than the LEDs on high. However the medium setting is almost as bright as the high setting. In fact, the medium is brighter than the Halogens on high. Even so, the color is great and the extra brightness is a bonus. I recommend these LED bulbs.
