These are great LED replacements for halogen bulbs in terms of energy consumption and brightness. BUT beware, if you are planning to use these in a glass or transparent fixture, they won’t work as well as your halogen bulbs. I ended up returning these because the halogen bulbs they were to replace can illuminate through the body of the bulb. These cannot. They only shine light directly downwards through the face of the bulb. The body of the bulbs is opaque. So, if you want/are used to having you halogen bulbs to create a glow through your fixture, these will not work.
