Out of 4 fixtures, 0 worked right out of the box. All 4 pull-chain switches were bad. This would have been a major issue if not for the fact that I'm handy with mechanical/electrical things and could repair/modify them to work for me. I was going to leave the pull-chains in the on position anyway and control them with other light switches so it was a matter of opening up the unit, bypassing the pull-chain. I installed these in my back garage because I only had two little light bulbs and couldn’t see the tools I was holding. These light really made a difference. Now that garage looks like a surgical area. So well lit. Even with a cold winter and nights at below 0 deg F, the lights come right on without needing to wait for them to heat up like floecent lights do. I love them and will buy another set for the front garage and basement.

I love them. My only problem is that I am too short to reach the pull-chain to turn them on, so I got some extenders for $1 each. They were easy to install by myself because they're so light (pun most definitely intended), I was able to get them up the ladder unassisted and I'm tiny!The work so well that I didn't have to install all 4 of them in my garage, so I'll find another use for the other two. Hopefully they can rise to the challenge of subzero Northern NY winters!

This is not the same product.They switched product and kept the ratings.I have purchased these 3 times now, this being the 4th. The previous lights were linked by electrical cord to each other so you could control how far apart they were spaced.This new version you have to stick the lights end to end to make one long light. Doesnt function the same, and isn't interchangeable with the original lights i purchased. This is false advertising. I now have 12 lights set up that I cant expand., thanks…

Installed all four in my garage yesterday. Make no mistake - at four shop lights for $100, something has to give. These are flimsy and palpably cheap to the touch. The LED tubes are plastic and not rigid like a typical T5 bulb, and flop around a bit.Light output is excellent. Once they're in the air you won't notice the cheapness, but I would've paid $10 or $15 more per unit for a more solid build.

Incredibly bright and easy to put up. Very light weight. I used drywall screws and eye hooks to hang if from the ceiling in my shop. Has about a 1/2 inch clearance from the ceiling. LOVE the level of brightness it delivers. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THESE LIGHTS!

Works great! Super bright. 3 of them lit up better the 4 8' old style fluorescents! Easy to put up and link together! The product may be too difficult to install and require professional help.

I have a 3-car garage, and it has a simple fixture over each bay that holds a single light bulb. I removed the light bulb and placed an adapter into each light socket that changes it into an outlet that accepts a plug. Rather than have each of the shop lights hanging down from the ceiling, I drilled two holes into each shop light and screwed each one directly into the ceiling. Awesome color and brightness. Came quickly and installed in my garage today. Instant on,no noticeable flicker or audible hum. Only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because the slotted tabs for flush mount to ceiling are opposite each other. this means you cannot put screws into the ceiling and slide lights to click into place. I just drilled a couple of holes into them and screwed them to the ceiling. Took 30 minutes to install 4.

I replaced 4 40W florescent shop lights with these. I had to put some outlets in to do it as the old ones were hard wired. The installation went smoothly and these are brighter than the florescent lights. I just ordered 4 more to complete the replcement of the rest of my florescent lights.

I easily installed 12 of the Leonlite 4 Foot LED shop lights in the basement. They are very bright and lightweight. I Really like the fact that they have pull chains. I can turn off those on the same circuit, if I don't need light in that specific area.I did have a corner of one of the fixtures arrive cracked during shipping, but after talking to Yari from Torchstar Lighting customer service, they are sending me a new fixture! Now That is real customer service.

These lights were an excellent replacement for my old fluorescent lights in the garage. They are bright, easy to install, and consume much less power.

Had a set of old style, heavy metal fluorescent shop lights that finally gave up after 30 years of use and I replaced them with these. They were originally hard wired, so I had to install some outlets as these come with plugs and I preferred not to just cut them off. The material used is much lighter in weight and the lights are nice and bright. Easy to recommend these.

i need more. so bright and easy to use. If you daisy chain them, the pull cord ONLY controls the one unit. it will NOT turn off other lights that are plugged into it.

These things are great! They are easy to hang and put off a lot of light. They come on quickly as well. I absolutly love these and dont know how I got by in my garage without them. Well made but lite. I installed 4 of them myself directly to the ceiling because I did not want them interfering with my garage door operation. Could not be happier. I run two sets off of one light socket plug adapter with no ploblems or overheating.

Excellent brightness, and very even. They were packaged very well - no damage at all, and easy to install. The daylight version is a perfect color temperature for work lights or general application.

Got these to replace some old florescent fixtures with bad ballasts in the basement work area. Couldn't have been easier to install just wired some outlets on the old connections. Gone is the annoying buzz of the old fixtures! These give off a lot of light for their size and four light up the place like the midday sun. You won't go wrong with this product.

I was tired of fighting my old blinking fluorescent shop lights. These worked out great and the brightest was surprising compare to what I was used to.

Wish I could give these 6 or 7 stars because they worked better than expected. I have purchased 6 boxes to light my new metal building. My electrician said I would need many more because the light output. The building is 40 foot x 64 foot with 14 foot sidewalls. I place 4 per roof truss except for the first and last which I only used 2 on each. The inside of the shop is bright, really bright. The cool thing is that it is evenly lit without the shadows if there was only 4 or 6 large fixtures…

I purchased these lights to replace the aging fluorescents in my garage and these are a huge improvement in brightness. The extra feature to chain the lights together without hardwiring them was very helpful.
