Out of 4 fixtures, 0 worked right out of the box. All 4 pull-chain switches were bad. This would have been a major issue if not for the fact that I'm handy with mechanical/electrical things and could repair/modify them to work for me. I was going to leave the pull-chains in the on position anyway and control them with other light switches so it was a matter of opening up the unit, bypassing the pull-chain. If you aren't prepared to do that sort of work to these before you can use them, look for a better quality fixture. Also, one of the units had a wire that was disconnected from one of the LED strips. I only caught that because it was on the same end as the pull-chain. Otherwise, this one wouldn't have worked at all which would have been incredibly frustrating after going through the hassle of bypassing the switch. As it was, I had to get the soldering iron out and resolder that wire to the end of the LED strip. Considering how tiny the spot is that the wire gets soldered to, that was a challenge for me even though I'm proficient in soldering.These lights are going to be absolutely unacceptable to anyone who's not willing and able to open them up and modify them before they can be used. The pull-chains that came with these lights were the cheesiest little plastic hunks of junk I have ever seen. I'm certain that even if they'd worked out of the box, they would have failed after only a very few on/off cycles. the body of each of the 4 switches was actually broken. I don't know how they could have left the assembly line like that unintentionally unless there's no quality control at all in that factory. I would have given "Easy to install" zero stars if zero had been an option. I wouldn't recommend these and wouldn't buy them again. I guess these shop lights fall squarely in the "You get what you pay for" category.
