I bought this monitor a few months ago to use with a new HP system I just bought. I am using Windows XP Professional and had no problems installing and using this monitor. Here are a few things to note: The display is quite bright. I had to set it to 10. Text and images are very sharp. This seems to reduce or eliminate the eye fatigue I experienced when using non-TFT LCD monitors for long periods of time. The built-in speakers are thin and sound like metal. Don't expect too much from them. The monitor is mounted low on a stand and is not height adjustable. I had to mount it on several books to get a comfortable height. This monitor is also useful for editing and viewing digital photos. It's so sharp that it can reveal some imperfections in photos (like low-light noise) that just aren't visible on older LCD monitors. Overall I am very happy with the purchase of this monitor. If you're looking to upgrade your display, the HP w1907 is definitely worth considering.
