Review on Telescopic tripod ADA instruments Silver PLUS yellow/silver by Dorota Struszewska ᠌

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

In general, the tripod is good, you need to take it, it justifies its price. True, the price has risen to 5500. December. For 4200. - the price was great. Use without a tripod, i. E. I don’t risk it yet - in the video review of the previous model (ADA SILVER) it was said that the clamp of the sliding part of the rod is not very reliable, so the rod can fold by itself and fall. I don't want to test it on my device.

Pros
  • The height of the fully assembled and extended rod is 3.6 m - it reaches the ceiling in any standard room. And if it doesn’t get enough, then the tripod solves the problem. The entire length of the rod is marked, it is convenient to carry out a rough aiming of the level in height. The new mount is more convenient than the previous model - now it is detachable. It consists of an adapter that moves along the rod, and the actual mount for the level. The mount has a micro-lift for precise height adjustment. Connects to the adapter with a strong magnet. Therefore, the level can be easily removed at any time from the rod (together with the mount) without unscrewing the fixing screw, and at the same time not be afraid that the device will fall off and fall to the floor. The mount can also be hung on a self-tapping screw, placed on the floor, or attached with a magnet to steel pipes and beams. The cover has separate pockets for each section of the rod - you can not be afraid that they will be scratched.
Cons
  • The mount does not have a rotary horizontal platform with a microscrew (as, for example, in Condtrol Wall Mount PRO 7-1-027 or Bosch BM1 0601015A01), so it is inconvenient to aim the level horizontally. You have to rotate either the entire mount assembly around the rod, or rotate the rod itself in a tripod, or together with a tripod. The turning turns are rough - either "undershoot", then "overshoot", while the vertical aiming can still go astray. You can, of course, turn the level itself by loosening the fixing screw, but the same problems remain. It was possible to solve the problem by purchasing a swivel base ADA A00486 and an adapter screw ADA A00321. This made the mount much heavier. The cover is sewn rather casually, hastily, from cheap fabric. It has two separate additional pockets for fastening, adapter, heel. In one of them, the level itself without a case would fit. But the pockets are located unsuccessfully - both are at the upper end of the cover. Therefore, when you try to hang a fully loaded case on your shoulder, the pockets turn out to be heavier than the rod, outweigh, and the case constantly tries to turn upside down on the shoulder strap. So wearing it on the shoulder like a carabiner is inconvenient.
