Review on Enhance Precision & Safety with MJ SPLITTER SteelPro TK – Powerful Steel Splitter Tool by Joseph Harkins

I just installed it and with the included drill bit it was difficult to drill through the Leecraft zero insert. The Leecraft zero insert is made from a very dense plastic polymer and the drill bit gets very hot and cannot be drilled in one pass. I mostly have thin kerf blades, but I have a very good 1/8" Forrest blade that requires an additional $40 MJ Splitter 1/8" kit. In hindsight I should have just bought a riving knife but I had to make a cut out in the insert to accommodate it. This will likely take less time than the entire MJ splitter installation. I also need to get them out to use a full table saw table to measure about 24 inches wide. It seems to be a very niche product.
