Review on Armband IPhone NOT PLUS Resistant by Patricia Ross

Good product for the price; but not perfect

This sports headband is good for running. I use my bare Galaxy S4 with a wireless charging case in this headband. The wireless charging cover makes the GS4 a bit thicker and fits perfectly. I also tested the GS4 with the Otterbox Defender case. It doesn't fit the full body, but it does fit with some effort if you remove the outer rubber cover from the Defender's case and leave the hard plastic on the phone. The GS4 version of Android 4.3 enables ANT+ wireless. functions. I'm awaiting a Garmin 910XT replacement so for now I'm happy to use this headband and apps to connect to my ANT+ heart rate monitor and ANT+ pedometer. This is a great combination that can make buying expensive GPS watches easier. I don't run in the rain with this headband. There is a large top slot to put your phone in and rain can easily get in. When running on warm days with an armband, there was enough moisture on the skin in the neoprene jacket and on the inside of the plastic window. I was a bit concerned that this might cause problems over time. I don't use that stupid headphone cable pull tab on the left. It's a little out of place when it exits the side - on the GS4, your headphones exit at the top. When I run in cold weather I wear a windbreaker and this headband doesn't fit well on my shoulder. It slides down to my elbow so I either have to pull the strap very tight or keep my elbow bent to keep it from slipping off my arm completely. The bandage should probably be changed to use the rubber grips inside to prevent this. Or you need to choose another model with this feature in case you wear slippery sportswear. When I press the buttons on the screen, I often have to press them many times. The plastic window is annoying. I don't use a screen protector on my phone. The power and volume buttons are intentionally hard to press, but are accidentally pressed unexpectedly. I'm just starting/stopping my exercises, so I don't really watch them. This bandage works for my purposes and I will continue to use it. It's not perfect, but it was cheap, so I'm fine with that for now and not looking for an alternative.
