Like other reviews they don't send enough mounting hardware to fully install this thing. So I had to go get something. Also the screws they send don't go well with the dowels. Therefore, they do not fully expand. I can see where they fall off the wall in other reviews. I was able to fit both sides of each panel into the joist so I think it will hold up well. Hooks make me nervous. I have two 27.5 inch full suspension mountain bikes and two 20 inch hardtail kid mountain bikes to hang on and while the kid bikes seem fine, the adult bikes scare me. Also, I bought a bike rack for 6 bikes. I don't see how 6 bikes can be on this thing unless they are road bikes or fixed bikes that are easily accessible. And if you're parking bikes that you ride all the time, get a bigger bike so you have room to put them on and off.
