Cheaper than good sponges
Definitely functional. I've had better sponges but always threw them away because they started to smell and it always felt like a waste of money because they held up to use and should last longer for the price. They are cheap and not very durable (knives, even butter knives, will go through the yellow side if you rub them with a sponge more than once). But they break down about as quickly as they smell, so throwing them away doesn't feel bad or wasteful. Considering how many are in a pack and how cheap they are, I save money by buying these cheap, lower quality sponges than buying better sponges.
