The differentiator of this binding for me is the adjustability. The arm extends, rotates 320 degrees, and has hinges in two places. This means you can adjust to get the "perfect" positioning. So far it has stayed pretty much where I set it. The suction cup sticks well to non-porous surfaces such as glass and smooth plastic. I use it either on the smooth plastic of the dash, on the windshield, or on a weighted base with a smooth plastic insert. The jaws are suitable for phones with screen sizes up to 3.4 inches. There are other mounts designed for 3.75 inches. Measure your phone before purchasing to avoid disappointment. The structure is entirely made of plastic. Overall, this mount feels as solid as any other mount in its class. As with any pine binding on display, I'm concerned about durability, but so far so good. One concept from a manufacturer that I like and will try is the idea of using it on counters, tables and tables. I think the suction cup will work well on non-porous surfaces. This is definitely worth a try. If it works I might consider that as something for a trip. I haven't tried wireless charging yet. All in all I think it's good for the money. Jerry
