Solid and Reliable Adapter

As a hesitant buyer in the market for Industrial and Scientific Drum & Pail Handling Equipment, I was pleasantly surprised by the performance of this adapter. As a result of my tests, I determined that it is solid and reliable, holding up well to heavy use. The polypropylene material is sturdy, withstanding the wear and tear of daily use. The only con is that it may not fit all drum sizes. Overall, I highly recommend this adapter for anyone needing a reliable solution for their material…

Pros
  • High-quality female polypropylene adapters that are durable and long-lasting.
Cons
  • It may be difficult to find adapters that fit perfectly with all types of equipment, leading to potential leaking or other issues.

The threads are not tight enough

If you try to tighten them enough to stop the leaks they will pop and come loose again. The threads are too loose and will slip if you try to gently tighten them by hand.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I'll write later

This product is mislabeled

The compression threads on this product are small and cannot engage the internal 2 inch compression threads. The major diameter of a true 2" support thread is 2.5" (yes, it's silly that almost nothing is said in plumbing about its actual size), while this product is only 2.3". The seller should fix the description as he will keep losing money...

Pros
  • Multiple competitors
Cons
  • unreliable
