After purchasing a huge package of magnets, I thought I was set for the rest of the year. I hung a calendar on my refrigerator door, but my magnets were so weak, it kept sliding around and dropping off. My brother suggest Rare Earth magnets. He never steers me wrong. So, I ordered some and they are beyond perfect. It only took one little bar magnet to hold my heavy calendar in place. I previously used a handful of the craft magnets but there is no comparison. Rare Earth holds up far superior.

These magnets are really powerful and very difficult to get apart if two come together. Only way I've found safe to separate them is sliding them apart. I bought them to help provide extra hold for register/vent covers. Typical registers when closed don't stop air flow 100% so I've purchased magnetic covers. Although they are magnetic, the covers don't hold as well on ceiling registers. The magnets will ensure a secure hold.

Very strong! I installed shelves in my laundry space. After the install the lowest shelf did not allow the washer lid to fully open and stay open. I installed magnets on the bottom shelf to hold the washer lid open while loading and unloading the washer. WORKS GREAT!

As folks have said there are very strong and very difficult to separate - but that fine - you should expect that. On my AC power strips I have place 2 (sometime up to 4 on large ones) of these - using epoxy glue. Seems to work very well so far. hint: if you use epoxy use a small piece of tape to hold the magnet on during the initial drying - tends to move otherwise. I also take some "shoe glue" rubber cement and put a thin layer on the other side of the magnet - serves 2 purposes - prevents…

Cool, a little too pricey and I didn't use the adhesive. I used them to hang a scarf on the metal rim of a window. Stars based on my intended use, not including the adhesive.in fact I didn't see the adhesive in my delivery 😕

I use magnets for all kind of things and these are strong and a good value. But, like all other neodymiums, you have to be careful using them. They are strong and will "jump" a good distance and when they hit they may break.

I use these to hold down wood to a metal table. They're much stronger than I thought they'd be. I stack 4-6 at a time for my purposes. But they will crack/break easily if you're not careful. Just make sure not to let snap together hard, otherwise they can break. Other than that, they work great for me

I couldn't believe how strong these magnets were for their size. I would recommend them to anybody who wants to get a strong small magnet to do the job.

Great product to place your outdoor decorations intact. Used it over the windows pane and it works well to hold the decor even with one of the heavy wind gusts recently

Strong and good for many purposes wear a disc magnet would not be as useful. Strength is variable over the length of the magnet. It would be interesting to see what the actual field looks like. Sounds like a project!

Magnet is strong but the adhesive pulls off easly.I put a drip of krazy glue on the adhesive prior to putting on tool box. permanent but strong

Almost too strong. Make sure you have the correct polarity and a tight bond to the material on the back side of the magnet Good for the price!

Using this product to keep curtains together. Noticed immediately while taking the magnets apart they broke into several pieces. Smaller pieces are still so strong they still work great.

I've been trying for years to get adhesive magnets that actually hold things up. These are PHENOMENAL! I'm ordering a bunch more.

I've bought many of these now. Sometimes the magnets have nicks in them, sometimes quite big ones. I've also not received enough adhesive strips for all the magnets. I will not be about eight strips short. What's the point of purchasing with strips if I won't get enough strips for all the magnets?

I needed one magnet for a shower door repair, but these looked sooo cool I bought a box. They are awesome. I made a coat hook for my coat at work. I use them to hold drill bits, and tools. They are brittle.we all know that though. Probably the coolest thing I did is use them to hold a thinner glue project together. A lot of fun. Good product.

Magnetizes straight through my hand.LOLLove these. I have placed them on outdoor signage and these hold my outside porch gate in place so the puppy stays on my porch. I plan on using them to hang curtain rods on the ceiling so I don't have to drill in the drywall. However, I do use shoe goo for the adhesion, so when I take them off, there will be some wall/drywall damage. But I know they won't be going anywhere for a long time. The possibilities are endless for uses.

If you have ever used something that looks like a magnet but acts like a flunkie paperweight on an epic fail adventure, you know and appreciate the value of a REAL magnet that does its magnet job AND does it well. I am happy to report that THESE magnets pass the "do your job!” magnet test with flying colors. 🤗

UPDATE: I just wanted to add that the seller reached out after seeing this review. They offered to make things right with a replacement or refund. I declined as I didn't need either in this case. But props to them for reaching out and trying to make it right. It doesn't change the safety concerns leading to the one-star review, but I'd certainly buy other items from this seller.--I bought these to attach a set of broom holder clips to the side of our fridge. But there were two major problems:1.
