AC201710300001 MegaDeal Swivel Caster Bearing Review

Not terrible but not easy to roll. I built a closet for my daughter and a vacuum cleaner cart. Neither can maneuver easily on hard wood or concrete.

We got these for small projects around the house, the first project was a small ottoman weighing 31lbs, with blankets and essentials. We couldn't even move the wheels anywhere near. So we emptied it and thought it's ok, maybe it's too heavy but we can't move it very well, it almost lifts if you just try to push and get the wheels to move (see video ). Removed everything original and tried a new one, the result is the same. Very disappointed. (video second set)

I'm sure it says in the description but screws are not included. It's hard to rate reliability as it can depend heavily on the screws used. The wheel itself seems pretty sturdy, but we don't use it for something we ride often, and it sits well on carpet. I didn't think the wheel would ever have any problems, but if the wheel isn't properly secured to the mount, that's another story. All in all it's great, you get a ton for a good price and it's exactly what we were looking for.

These skates are worth the money (maybe money). They are durable and well made. Anyone who complains about the smell overreacts. The wheels are rubber, that's what they smell like to me. To me they smell nice ;) There is a seam in the middle of each wheel, although for the price I didn't think they would pay for an extra process to make them "perfect". I bought these casters to attach to the bottom of a wooden wine box that I use to store things in my living room. They worked great initially. They glided smoothly and silently across the wooden floor. I used 6 casters to carry a total of 15-20lbs which is well within the stated limit. Took me a while to open them because I wasn't ready for the project I ordered them for. But when I took the box, the smell was terrible. it hasn't even been opened yet. after opening it was harmful. I washed them in the dishwasher on a very high temperature (I didn't use the dry setting because I didn't want the rubber to melt) and then left them on the porch for a day.
