Review on White Queen Bed Skirt - 14 Inch Drop, Striped Tailored/Pleated Bedskirt with Split Corners and Platform, Solid Poly/Cotton 300TC Fabric - SHOPBEDDING by Teo Alston

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Beautiful but wider than advertised

This skirt has so much going for it. The material of the dropper part isn't thick, but it's nice, opaque, and drapes well. Also, it wasn't packed tightly into a small cube for packaging, creating almost permanent fold lines, as is sometimes the case. I was able to smooth wrinkles straight out of the box with a steam iron in less than ten minutes. Also, the material of the platform is actually fabric, so when your iron touches it, it doesn't disappear like a piece of lit paper. So what's the downside? I ordered a full skirt which according to the seller's response to a question on Revain and the packaging material was supposed to be 54" x 75", but the one I received is 57.5" x 75 ". I thought the queen might have been mistakenly boxed as full, but the boxing material says the queen is 60 inches wide. Bed. I just folded 2.5 inches down the length of the mattress in half, which should hold it in place. So I won't have to deal with it again until I take them off to wash. However, for others who don't have a chest to hide the bottom of the bed, this probably won't be a satisfactory solution.
