This was a very interesting product as it should cover a lot of fruit bases. and vegetables. I agree the blades are SHARP which is great as long as you don't lose stability while chopping veggies with this device. I've found this to be most useful for foods I usually cut with a knife. As long as the food you're trying to cut isn't too thick or complex, it works fine. When you start eating some tough foods, you run into some stability and control issues with this grinder. Parts of it tend to fall apart with use and you need to be very careful throughout the process. I really thought it just took longer to get used to. But if it slips and becomes uneven with use, it can't be "teached" unless you could stick it on the countertop. Ultimately it works. No, I didn't try to cut a mustard seed with it, but we tried it successfully and laboriously with different fruits and vegetables. There are probably better products out there for this, so I only recommend it to those who understand its shortcomings.
