    It broke immediately.

    Where "aluminum alloy"? The thing is all plastic and cracked a bit as soon as I unpacked it. I didn't even get a chance to put my laptop on it and I definitely won't now. Buy something else, there is no point in spending money on it.

    Minimum height 4.7 "

    All good but minimum height 4.7". Unfortunately for me this is still a high position, they even say that this is a mini height. When I was typing, my wrist would bend, making the pain in my wrist worse. I returned it and ordered another one. I hope this review is helpful to those looking to purchase this.

    No aluminum. All plastic.

    I bought this because the title and description says it's aluminum. It's all plastic. I opened it and there was a click. This thing won't last. It's cheap but I expected more than their description. Every part really flexes.

    Great laptop stand in Computers & Accessories

    I don't usually write reviews without an Amazon endorsement but I LOVE this stand. I bought it for my keyboard for my desktop. I didn't work exactly the way I wanted, but I managed. I brought it home from work to try it out on my laptop (because that's what it's made for). When you look at it, it seems like a big angle, but it's really comfortable. My laptop stays in place and is stable. And I used it a lot this weekend. And I have to move it to use my silhouette.

    NOT FOR HEAVY LAPTOP

    This product seems ok for a Chromebook/thin laptop but not for a heavier laptop. My laptop is particularly heavy, especially for a 15 inch laptop (Alienware M15 R4) and due to the cost of the laptop in question I had to return it and try again. It would probably work great for my old work computer. although!

    Pretty good especially if it stays in the same spot/position

    I use this to keep my laptop on the stand up converter so it's more even with my other monitors. It keeps my laptop safe; I'm not worried about it slipping or breaking. However, I think it is too weak to move between the tables on a daily basis. Perfect for staying in one place but feels like it might break if moved a lot or legs adjusted frequently.

    on such cheap crap.* It broke after less than 2.5 months of light use.* Used with a regular sized 15" laptop (<5lbs). Never elevated, but usually lying on the table to allow better air circulation. * Two tiny "screws" connecting the adjustable metal bars to the "armrests", separate from the plastic base of the armrests (which hold the laptop). *These "screws"" are tiny, more like little pins 2-3mm deep (see image above) holding the whole thing together. *Definitely NOT worth the $12 we paid.

    Did what I wanted but broke after 2 weeks

    I like the design of this stand. It's small, slim, light, etc. It had variable angles. Everything cool. When I took it out of the box I knew it wouldn't last very long, but I was hopeful. Two weeks later, one of the screws came loose. I was able to reapply it but I don't expect to be using this coaster for long. She did her job of confirming that I want something of this sort. I'll buy something stronger.

    I wouldn't count on anything of value being kept for more than a few minutes

    As soon as I took it out of the box I knew this was going to be a problem. Yes, it's designed to be portable, but that portability comes at the expense of stability. After unfolding the two sides of the stand, the center started sagging and I was really worried about putting weight on it. The levers that hold the device in place are metal, but the internal supports, like the ones that hold the stand at right angles and those that hold the center section in place, are made of very thin plastic…
